ABOUT US who we are

BACKGROUND
How we got started

A + J Architects were formed in 2000 by Tony and Jo Parascandolo. Tony and Jo met at Birmingham School of Architecture and continue to enjoy architecture together! A great excuse for travel.

The practice has worked in numerous sectors with an emphasis on designing and delivering high quality buildings. Our offices are based in Collingham, near Wetherby, and our work is based primarily throughout the North of England and the Midlands but we can work anywhere!

A + J Architects have designed numerous doctors’ surgeries, community buildings, retail units, educational facilities, housing and private house extensions.

PHILOSOPHY
How we work

“We shape our buildings: thereafter they shape us."
Sir Winston Churchill

Whether designing a large Primary Care Centre or modest extension to a private house our philosophy is the same – get to know your client, listen to them and design a building they want.

SERVICE
How we can help you

A + J Architects provide a complete service from inception to completion either using traditional or design and build contracts. We can also draw upon other consultants to provide a multi-disciplinary team.
